This journal is part of the New Beginnings Series. I had a collection of journals that weren’t quite right or needed some additional attention. I knew it was time to slow down and tend to them. I started separating what each of them needed and found myself with a pile labeled “deconstruct”. That is essentially what I was doing to all of them in some capacity. I was starting over to various degrees. Some needed cut apart and leather added. Some needed to be rebound. Some reworked completely. I began the process and gave each the extra care it needed. This is one of those journals that received a “new beginning”. Each has some some added intention and reflection in them.

This was created from reclaimed leather and is the perfect size for carrying around to write, sketch, or jot ideas in. It was hand-bound using traditional binding methods and will lay flat when in use. It contains recycled, acid-free white pages that are blank and ready for writings, sketches, or photographs. The paper is 80 lb mixed media paper and can take a pretty inky pen, dry brush watercolors, pastels, etc. May this book inspire your internal and external journeys.
